Awesome man, It's great to see a screenshot like that one when everyone had their own e-plate, haha.
I remember that day too, when the new record of 100 players logged on. It must've been 98-99 yes, I actually think more 99 then 98, since I remember the new record being 70 at the end of 98.

I may be wrong though, you know me and my memory ;)

Great work!

Nice one.

I still prefer those graphics than the ones we have today. It is unreal to think of tibia with just 100 players.

Great work
Thumbs up

if I'm not misstaken, the update which changed the equipment was from 3.11 to 4.0. And if I'm not misstaken, this update was in may '98, since I started right after the update, and I'm pretty sure (not 100% though) that I started in may '98.
please, correct me if I am wrong :)

btw, thanks Thagor

No the equipment was changed in 1999.

The eq was changed in June, 1999, also all skills and mlvls were reduced.

As mentioned, the monster algorithm was different, therefor monsters could get stuck behind things. CipSoft introduced A* as an algorithm, and they could not be trapped by such corners.

I've never played the old tib. i started playing when everything was squared and the GS looked like a pile of mud (which makes it more scary than the todays' GS) (i started somewhere in 2003 or 2004) Well, the old tibia must be quite fun. standing on a upper floor shooting creatures below..... lvlin must not be so hard back then :D

and about the eq... wow.... i want e plate and all those stuff for 300 gp!

any high lvls willing to trade..?

anyways awesome site

and in 10 more years if tibia makes it that far will you be commenting on the things that are happening right now, maybe about eternal oblivion getting stuck at 70 or some of the update that cipsoft releases? hehehe
