I'm using Fraps to record the .avi files from the tibicams. Fraps gives the best quality you can get. the thing is that the .avi files will be very big. A 10 second clip can be easily 200mb's. But it's worth it!

2 Things: Frags Does give you better quality and way bigger files. BUT! if you know how to render a movie clip you get way better quality on it then frap ever can get.

But now we are talking about rendering a clip..
And not recording a clip. If you know any program that is better in recording a clip please tell me.

Rendering the clip is a totally other story. Your saying that if you know how to render a clip you can get good quality, but what if you render a clip wich is already good quality. You will get even better quality then..

So I guess the point you want to make is that with programs that are less good then fraps you can still get acceptable quality by rendering it in a good way?
