Arieswar is a well-known player; the one that handles the current status of the highest level in the whole world of Tibia. We approached him with all the respect he deserves and here is what we bring out of light...

Q. Is it easy to agree that you are some sort of a flag in Tibia; a goal for many, and a subject of healthy envy for the rest of us. How does Arieswar feels about that?

A. I never really thought about it i just play because i love hunting all day, i suppose some tend to be jealous and most newbies tend to be a bit taken back by my level. I don`t brag about it. I just play to hunt for fun. But lately since this update it has become somewhat a real problem to hunt now that my main source of income and exp has become pretty much useless to hunt with the dancing of monsters.

Q. Is there still any goal for Arieswar? What moves him to keep playing?

A. My current goal was level 100, but due to certain CIP actions in changing monsters recently and many lag deaths that goal might become impossible. I don`t know what keeps me playing. Mostly i keep coming back because of a few people who kepted me in the game. But one person who was always next to me was Mary. There are others like Eric and Matt but not as close as Mary.

Q. Are you constantly annoyed by players? How many people you don't know contacts you with enquires?

A. I try not to be but there are times when i get really ticked at some of the silly things players do. Do you really want to know how many talk to me? Sigh you have no idea... At least 15-30 depending on the time of day.

Q. Tibia now and then... Do you miss anything from the "good old days"?

A. One thing i miss was the neat thing a Firesword did was give the user 2 combat rounds a turn because it was so light. Very helpful against high shielded things :-) I am somewhat ticked off at the 2 minute logout for killing or attacking monsters.

Q. What is your favourite place of all Tibia?

A. Up until recently it was Deeper Fibula. I`d hunt dragons and dragon lords all day. Rarely anyone came around. But with the update that seems to be a thing of the past... :-(

Q. If you could change anything from Tibia, what would be it?

A. This is easy. Tibia needs a "Proper" Arena. Where you can enter and fight without fear of dieing in combat or losing any items or exp. The knights arena in Thais needs a major overhaul. Maybe a design like the Rome Colosium in Greece. Also Tibia is really boring without some sort of missions. There is this other game i play where you get missions from an Npc to kill so many creatures of a certain race and if you won you went back to claim your reward of exp and of course exp towards your status in Military rank.

Q. And if could change just one thing, that would be...?

Well for one thing maybe an increase in hp/mp gained per level on an upgraded knight/sorcerer/druid/paladin. I mean heck i paided 20k for my knight and got 1 spell that in my humble option quite useless...not to mention us knights got jipped in equal gains in regeneration. (* means upgraded class) *Sorcerer/*Druid get 1 hp=8secs /1 mp=4secs. *Paladins 1 hp=6 secs/1 mp=6 secs. Knights 1 hp=4 secs/1 mp=12 secs. Talk about ripoff.

Q. Any funny tale you can relate of your many adventures?

A. Let's see. How about the time i gotten 2 DSM in the space of 10 mins of each other? Or the time me and Taghor found the Cyclops Sword? Also i think i was the only one who had a "extra vita" Spellscroll. "Tried hard to get Magic level 8 too"

Q. Anything you deeply regret of your whole career?

A. Not getting level 100. And dieing all the time to lag that CIP seems to not have a solution to.

Q. Do you know your Rookgaard counterpart, the noble Sunrise? He is the
highest level there with a jaw-dropping level 41...

A. No, but he seems to have alot of time on his hands... ;-)

Q. Lets whisper: You are a way so experienced player... in your opinion,
and in short words, are there corruption between GMs?

A. This is a very tricky subject. It might of been vaguely and partly true with a few GM's but from what i have seen or not it doesn`t seem to be as bad. But there are a few strange things that happen now and then.

Q. What would make Arieswar incredibly happy today?

A. Oh let me see....Finding....Excalibug....

Q. Have you ever considered turning yourself into some sort of hero, like... making a committment to free Mintwallin of those high-levels that keeps it for them?

A. Hmmm oh really? Someone's been hogging Mintwallin? I wonder who it could be... But if there is a problem i could look into it if i had more info on it. I`ll see what i can do. Me? A hero? I just try to do the right thing. No path is ever easy. I`ve made alot of mistakes and have been betrayed alot. Died too. I just play to have fun. I hate looters even worse... (sharpens blade)

Q. Is there anything else you want to say that we haven't discussed already?

A. Tibia is a game where you can live and die. How you treat others in the game will affect how the game feels in general if your an ass then the game is but if your kind then it shows. I can say alot of things that make sense and some people think that the people make what a game can or can not be, but unless the game rewards a person's good or bad intentions in some way that affects the character or anyone nearby in some way like exp or something like an item or even a title you can earn instead of it being bestowed by some player. Then maybe even the simple task of healing someone can earn exp and maybe it will promote caring for others. Unless there is a balance and a reward type system then you can be fairly sure a game without that will fail.
